4th world record attempt
Fri, 13 Mar 09 20:42
It appears that something failed structurally early on the record attempt today and the boat collapsed and turned over very quickly. Paul has some nasty cuts and was badly concussed. We will report in more detail tomorrow when we have looked at the boat and any available footage.

Hope you are feeling better
Submitted by Tiamat on Sun, 03/15/2009 - 15:29.Hi Team and especially Paul,
Hope you are feeling better and your injuries aren't too bad and you will soon be fighting fit again.
I know we are all sitting at our screens waiting for news and anxious. We realise that you must have many other pressing issues but any chance of a very quick note just to let us know how Paul is doing?
You have overcome several setbacks that would have stopped lesser teams in their tracks and you have always come back stronger so we know that this time will be no different. Take your time, regroup, understand the failure but above all get fit and healthy.
The records are there for your taking!
Best of Luck,
Duncan & Kim.
