I swore out loud when I first loaded the page and saw this. I know you've been saying all along the concept is designed to do this, but it's still almost unbelievable. A 10-knot jump in the record is ridiculous. You are truly in a league of your own now. Very impressive work, congratulations.

Congratulations once again. Stunning result.

When I passed on congratulations on your 59+ knot 500m run, I wondered how much more you could eke out of VRS2. Well I didn't imagine you would out-do the existing Nautical Mile record and then go on to exceed 65 knots over 500m.

I have recently plotted up the absolute speed records results since the WSSRC began to award them in the early 70's. While there was a steady climb in the results from 2008, there is now an absolute 'blip' at 2012 (pending WSSRC ratification of course)! You have now set such a high benchmark, I think you may be hanging on to this record for quite some time just as Yellow Pages Endeavour did in the past. You better stop now to give others a chance. On second thoughts...

At some stage, it will be interesting to read more details of that re-designed supercavitating foil you now have on VSR2. Clearly, the team got the formula right!!

I have been sharing your good news with the International Hydrofoil Society. We have been watching your achievements quietly with fingers crossed for your success in this venture. Now we can all smile even more.

This numbers are insane.....big achievements in a few days.
For some years ago i was doing 72 knots riding a water jet, so i know the feeloing of sitting in a small craft at such speeds, now you are doing almost the same with the only power of the wind. Great performance :-)
